Web Developer

Design and develop trade promotional and sales incentive websites in a fast paced team environment. Work with account managers to deliver engaging and interactive websites that promote brands for our clients' high profile, high traffic B2B websites with .NET front ends, and MS SQL Server and MS Access back ends.

DUTIES

Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: C, VB.NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and Classic ASP. Database experience in MS SQL Server and MS Access including the ability to design queries, views and stored procedures, troubleshoot and analyze code. Experience in MVC/MVP design patterns is required. Experience with version control systems such as SVN/GIT. Functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST,SOAP, etc.). Fundamental understanding of relation databases and working knowledge of Object Programming and best practices.

Able to understand and work closely with peers, management, supervisors, and production staff. Support and be able to communicate with end users (production staff) who may have limited technical expertise. Able to interpret complex business rules and apply such rules to website functionality. Able to think logically, communicate clearly and to be well organized. Ability to document code and code changes.

QUALIFICATIONS

College Degree in Computer Science, MIS or relevant experience.

Strong web application development experience in a Microsoft Web platform environment.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills, able to do extensive analysis and to work independently, with minimal supervision.

Willing to work hours needed (including some evenings and weekends) to meet job requirements.

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Maintain a positive attitude and proactive approach to assignments. Report to work on a timely basis, maintain acceptable attendance levels.
